Mama lives in the dilapidated area of town,
With vulgar scribbles painted bright
onto the fading gray walls -

A result of teenage boredom that sets
in between exam stress and blind
expectations for pieces of paper
that society flaunts as decoratives.

The youngsters...
They never did care anyway
When they peed in the playground
Meant for the tots under five
Or displayed their limited repertoire
of descriptive words by
inking them onto the slides
with ugly black ink that only fades
through rain and time.

Their English teacher would probably
have torn her hair up in distress
upon finding out how her students
had modified the non-word, "fuck".

Substituting it in as
an    adjective,
a        noun,
a        verb,
            &
a    conjunction.


I digress.


Mama lives in the dilapidated area of town.
I tried to ask her to move out today -
But she refused.
Mama prefers decadence over order.
Because it gives her a reason to bitch
About something more worthwhile.
